Konsulada ng Pilipinas sa Jeddah, Saudi Arabia pansamantalang isinara matapos isang tauhan ang magpositibo sa COVID-19

Pansamantalang isinara ang konsulada ng Pilipinas sa Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Ito ay makaraang isang tauhan ng embahada ang magpositibo sa COVID-19.

Ayon sa abiso ng konsulada, isang personnel nito na may mataas na public exposure ang nagpositibo sa sakit.

Dalawang OFWs din na dating kinanlong sa konsulada ang nagpositibo sa sakit pag-uwi sa Pilipinas.

Inatasan ang lahat ng tauhan ng konsulada na sumailalim sa self-quarantine at agad magpagamot kapag nakaranas ng sintomas.

Tatagal ang suspensyon ng operasyon ng konsulada hanggang sa July 2.

Inabisuhan din ang mga bumisita sa konsulada mula June 14 hanggang June 18 na imonitor ang kondisyon ng kanilang kalusugan.
