Barangay officials na nasampahan ng reklamo dahil sa anomalya sa SAP distribution, 397 na ayon sa DILG

Mayroon nang 397 na mga opisyal ng barangay na nasampahan ng reklamo sa Department of Justice (DOJ) dahil sa anomalya sa pamamahagi ng cash assistance sa ilalim ng Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

Ayon kay Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo M. Año, ang Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group ang nagsampa ng reklamong graft base sa direktiba ng DILG.

Sinabi ni Año na umabot sa 663 na indibidwal ang isinailalim sa imbestigasyon.

Sa nasabing bilang, 276 ay pawang elected officials.

Malaking bilang ng nasampahan ng reklamo ay pawang mga kapitan at kagawad.

Mayroon ding naireklamong barangay secretaries, health workers, treasurers, SK chairman at iba pa.

Inaasahan ang pagsasampa pa ng reklamo laban sa iba pang mga opisyal sa mga susunod na araw, dahil nagsasagawa pa ng case build up ang PNP sa 67 pang mga reklamo.

Reklamong paglabag sa Republic Act 3019 o Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices, RA 11469 o Bayanihan to Heal as One Act, at RA 11332 o Law on Reporting of Communicable Diseases ang isinampa laban sa mga opisyal.
