Mahigit $51,200 na halaga ng US Dollar Bills nakumpiska ng Customs sa Clark

Nakumpiska ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) sa Port of Clark ang libu-libong halaga ng US dollar bills.

Ang pera na nagkakahalaga ng $54,215 ay iniipit sa mga pahina ng magazines para maipuslit.

Idineklarang “Chinese Cook Book Recipes” ang shipment na dumating sa Clark galing Hong Kong noong May 25, 2020.

SA isinagawang physical examination sa kargamento, natuklasan ang 540 piraso ng $100 Bill, two (2) pcs. ng $50 Bill, four (4) pcs. ng $20 Bill, one (1) pc. ng $10 Bill at (5) pcs. ng $5 Bill .

Nakita ito na nakasingit s apitong magkakaibang magazines.

Ang halaga na nakumpiska ay katumbas ng P2.7 million.

Nagpalabas ng Warrant of Seizure and Detention (WSD) si District Collector Atty. Ruby Alameda para sa nasabing kargamento sa ilalim ng Sections 1400 at 1113 f, i & l (3) ng R.A. No. 10863 (CMTA) in relation to BSP Foreign Exchange Transaction Manual.
