Iba’t ibang airport binuksan na para sa mga uuwing OFW

Tiniyak ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na mas magiging maayos na ang pag-uwi sa bansa ng mga Overseas Filipino Workers na naapektuhan ng COVID-19.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ito ay dahil binuksan na ang iba’t ibang airport sa bansa at hindi ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport na lamang ang gagamitin.

May mga PCR testing facilities na malapit sa airport sa Clark, Pampanga, sa Cebu at Davao kung saan maari nang magpa-swab at magpa-quarantine na doon ang mga OFW.

Binago na rin aniya ng inter-agency task force on infectious disease ang guidelines kung saan pinapayagan na ang mga employment agency na pumuli ng sarili nilang laboratories para mapabilis anh processing at paglabas ng resulta ng COVID test.

Katunayan, sinabi ni Roque na may paparating na mga OFW ngayong araw sa Clark International Airport.

Umabot na sa halos 43,000 na OFW ang napauwi ng pamahalaan mula May 15 hanggang June 8.
