50 degrees Celsius na heat index naitala kahapon, June 7
Nakapagtala ng mataas na heat index ang 7 na lugar sa bansa, araw ng Linggo, June 7.
Ayon sa huling datos ng PAGASA, nakapagtala ang Sangley Point, Cavite City ng pinakamataas na heat index na umabot sa 50 degrees Celsius, alas-2:00 ng hapon.
Narito ang iba pang mga lugar na nakapagtala ng mataas na heat index:
Science City of Muñoz (5:00PM) – 49 degrees Celsius
Ambulong, Tanauan City – (2:00PM) – 48 degrees Celsius
Dagupan City (2:00PM) – 48 degrees Celsius
Aparri, Cagayan (2:00PM) – 44degrees Celsius
Casiguran, Aurora (2:00PM) – 44 degrees Celsius
Dipolog City (11:00AM) – 44 degrees Celsius
Ayon sa weather bureau, mapanganib ang dulot kapag umabot sa 41 hanggang 54 degrees Celsius ang heat index dahil sa sobrang init, maaari itong magdulot ng heat cramps at heat exhaustion na posibleng mauwi sa heat stroke.
Paalala ng PAGASA sa publiko na dalasan ang pag-inom ng tubig at iwasan na muna ang anumang physical activities tuwing tanghali at hapon.
