41 empleyado ng BOC nag-positibo sa COVID-19

Nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ang 41 empleyado ng Bureau of Customs (BOC).

Nagsagawa ng mass testing ang Medical and Dental Division ng BOC sa pakikipagtulungan sa Department of Health (DOH) at Philippine Red Cross kung saan 1,264 na empleyado ang kinuhanan ng swab tests.

Sa pahayag ng BOC, pawang asymptomatic ang mga empleyado.

Lahat ng empleyado na nagpositibo at ang mga nagkaroon ng close contact sa kanila ay isasailalim sa self-quarantine sa loob ng 14 na araw.

“All confirmed asymptomatic COVID-19 cases, as well as suspected ones, are being handled consistently under existing DOH protocols,” ayon kay BOC Spokesperson at Assistant Commissioner Atty. Vincent Philip Maronilla.

Simula nang magkaroon ng pandemic, lahat ng transaksyon sa BOC ay ginagawa na online.
