Pangulong Duterte magtatakda ng deadline dahil sa mga ahensyang bigong maibigay ang tulong-pinansyal sa pamilya ng mga nasawing health workers

Asahan nang kakalampagin ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang ilang tanggapan ng pamahalaan na naatasan na magbigay ng isang milyong piso sa pamilya ng mga health workers na namatay dahil sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, kaisa ang Palasyo sa pagkalampag ni Senador Panfilo Lacson at iba pang senador sa tanggapan ng pamahalaan na nagpabaya sa tungkulin kung kaya hanggang ngayon hindi pa naibibigay ang isang milyong pisong ayuda sa 32 health workers na namatay dahil sa COVID-19.

“We agree with the senators, that’s why in my talk I will ask the President, what is now your mandate? Because the last time we talked about stranded OFWs, he simply said I’ll give this people a deadline,” pahayag ni Roque.

“So, I expect that in my conversation with the President he will give a new deadline for those responsible in implementing the death benefits and other benefits due our frontliners,” dagdag pa ni Roque.

Matatanggap naman ng P100,000 na ayuda ang mga health workers na nagkasakit sa COVID- 19 at nakarekober.
