Sen. Francis Tolentino ipinasasama ang micro tourist business sa bibigyang ayuda

Ipinaglalaban ni Senator Francis Tolentino na maisama sa mabibigyan ng ayuda dahil sa epekto ng COVID 19 crisis ang mga maliliit na negosyo sa mga tourist spots sa bansa.

Binanggit ni Tolentino sa kanyang paliwanag sa diskusyon sa Senado ukol sa Senate Bill No. 1564 o ang Bayanihan to Recover as One Act na 80 porsiyento ng mga negosyo sa mga tourist destinations sa bansa ay maliliit na negosyo.

Nakasaad sa panukala ang pagbibigay ayuda sa mga naapektuhang negosyo sa hangarin na mapasigla muli ang ekonomiya ng bansa.

Ipinanukala ni Tolentino sa mga kapwa senador ang pagbuo ng isang tourism roadmap para matugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng mga maliiliit na negosyo kapag pinayagan na ang domestic tourism sa modified general community quarantine.

“This bill should include ways on how jumpstart our tourism industry. The creation of a roadmap would provide us with glimpse on how our tourism would address this. Paano ba babangon ang tourism natin?” aniya.

Nais din ni Tolentino na tulungan ng mga lokal na pamahalaan ang mga maliliit na negosyo sa pamamagitan ng Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBE) Act.
