Zero backlog sa COVID-19 tests target ng DOH simula ngayong araw

Simula ngayong Huwebes (May 28) ng gabi, sinabi ng Department of Health (DOH) na ta-targetin nila ang zero backlog sa COVID-19 tests.

Ayon kay Health Undersecretary Rosario Vergeire, simula sa 12,000 backlog noong nagdaang dalawang llinggo ay napababa na ito sa 3,600 na lamang.

Ang backlog na ito ayon kay Vergeire ay ang mga naiproseso nang swab samples pero hindi pa nailalabas ang resulta mula sa mga laboratoryo.

Dahil nasa 3,683 na lamang ang backlog, kumpiyansa ang DOH na bago matapos ang araw na ito ay makakamit ang zero backlog sa COVID-19 test results.

Sa huling datos ng DOH ay mahigit 15,000 na ang nakumpirmang kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa.
