“No vaccine No Classes” policy isinulong ng isang kongresista

Tinutulan ng isang mambabatas ang plano ng Department of Education (DepEd) na mag-resume na ang klase sa August 24, 2020 para sa School Year 2020-2021.

Ayon kay Quezon City Rep. Precious Hipolito Castelo, dapat ay hindi muna magbalik sa klase ang mga mag-aaral hangga’t walang bakuna panlaban sa COVID-19.

Base aniya sa karanasan ng ibang mga bansa, lantad sa sakit anuman ang edad ng isang tao.

Sa kaniyang pahayag, sinabi ni Castelo na hangga’t walang natutuklasang epektibong bakuna hindi dapat pabalikin sa klase ang mga bata.

Ito aniya ang pinakaligtas na gawin para sa mga mag-aaral.

Mahirap aniyang masunod ang physical distancing sa paaralan lalo na sa mga silid aralan na minsan ay umaabot ng 40 hanggang 50 ng estudyante.

Hindi rin aniya pwedeng ipilit ng DepEd ang online classes dahil hindi naman reliable ang signal ng internet sa buong bansa.
