Pagdoble ng bilang ng mga pamilyang nagugutom resulta ng ipinatupad na lockdown – Malakanyang

Aminado ang Malakanyang na dumami talaga ang bilang ng pamilyang nagugutom nitong nagdaang buwan.

Reaksyon ito ng palasyo sa survey ng Social Weather Stations na nagsasabing dumoble ang bilang ng mga pamilyang Filipino na nagugutom.

Sa panayam ng Radyo Inquirer, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na ang pagdami ng pamilyang nagugutom ay dahil sa ipinatupad na lockdown sa maraming lugar sa bansa bunsod ng pandemic ng COVID-19.

Ito aniya ang dahilan kaya gumawa ng hakbang ang pamahalaan upang unti-unting buksan na ang ekonomiya.

Ani Roque sa pagbubukas na ng ekonomiya ng bansa, marami na ang makababalik sa trabaho.

Pinatitiyak din aniya ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mapabilis na proseso ng pamamamahagi ng ikalawang tranche ng Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

Ito ay para agad na makarating sa mahihirap na pamilya ang pinansyal na ayuda ng gobyerno.
