P47 na convenience fee na siningil ng Meralco sa mga consumer na nagbayad ng bill online, isasauli

Isasauli ng Meralco ang naibayad na P47 convenience fee ng mga consumer na nagbayad ng kanilang bill online.

Sa pamamagitan ng Meralco App pwedeng bayaran ang Meralco bill pero mayroong dagdag na P47 bilang convenience fee.

Sa panayam ng Radyo Inquirer, sinabi ni Meralco Spokesperson Joe Zaldarriaga na ang Meralco na muna ang sasagot sa nasabing convenience fee.

Sinabi ni Zaldarriaga na sumulat sa kanila si Energy Sec. Alfonso Cusi at kinuwestyon ang Meralco tungkol sa nasabing charges habang ang Metro Manila at mga kalapit na lalawigan ay nakasailalim sa Enhanced Community Quarantine.

Sa kaniyang tugon sa liham ni Cusi, humingi ng paumanhin si Meralco President at CEO Ray Espinosa dahil sa paniningil ng P47 sa consumers.

Tiniyak ni Espinosa na hindi na nila ito sisingilin sa panahon ng quarantine.

Habang para naman sa mga nakabayad na, isasauli nila ang naturang halaga sa mga consumer.
