Kada linggong COVID-19 test para sa health workers inirekomenda

Hinimok ni Quezon City Rep. Precious Castelo ang Department of Health (DOH) na obligahin ang lahat ng ospital at iba pang healthcare facilities na isailalim ang kanilang frontline workers sa lingguhang COVID-19 test.

Ito’y para maaga anyang ma-detect ang virus lalo’t palaging exposed ang mga doktor at nurses sa ospital.

Sabi ni Castelo, kung maagang malalaman na positibo sa impeksyon ang healthcare workers, mabilis silang maa-isolate, mapipigilang makahawa pa ng iba at agad magagamot.

Naniniwala ang kongresista na mas mainam nang mamuhunan sa regular screening ma mas mura kaysa sa halaga ng gamutan sa COVID-19 na ginagastusan ng Philhealth.

Ginawa nito ang apela dahil na rin sa reklamo ng ilang frontline personnel sa National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) sa Quezon City na tatlong linggo na umano ang nakaraan mula nang huli sila masuri sa COVID-19.

Isinailalim lang rin daw sila sa test makaraang magpositibo ang ilan sa kanilang mga kasamahan pero iyon na ang una at huli dahil hindi pa nauulit ang screening.
