CITIRA Law dapat maipasa ng Kongreso bago matapos ang sesyon sa Hunyo

Nanawagan si Finance Sec. Carlos Dominguez III na ipasa na ng kongreso ang Corporate Income Tax and Incentives Rationalization Act (CITIRA law).

Ito ang panukalang batas na naglalayong bawasan ang corporate income taxes at magpatupad ng ng rationalization sa fiscal incentives system sa bansa.

Ayon kay Dominguez dapat bago mag-adjourn ang kongreso sa June ay maipasa ang batas.

Malaking tulong aniya ang CITIRA Law para makahimok ng mga dayuhang mamumumuhunan sa bansa.

Dahil sa banta ng COVID-19 sa buong mundo sinabi ni Dominguez na maraming investors ngayon na naghahanap ng bansang paglalagakan ng kanilang negosyo.

Sa ilalim ng naturang panukalang batas, ang corporate income tax (CIT) rate ay bababa sa 20% na lang mula sa 30%.

Buwan ng Marso nang sertipikahang urgent ni Pangulong Duterte ang nasabing panukala.
