Isang barangay sa Baguio City, isinailalim na sa lockdown

Isinailalim na sa lockdown ang isang barangay sa Baguio City.

Sa memorandum no. 56 ni Mayor Benjamin Magalong, ipinag-utos nito ang lockdown sa Barangay Padre Zamora simula 1:00, Sabado ng hapon (May 9).

Aniya, may mga ulat na nakarating sa Baguio City government kung saan hindi nasusunod ang mga panuntunan sa ECQ, pagsusuot ng face mask at pagsunod sa physical distancing.

Paliwanag ng alkalde, layon ng lockdown na matiyak ang kaligtasan at seguridad ng mga residente, at upang masunod ang mga panuntunan sa ilalim ng enhanced community quarantine.

Suspendido rin aniya ang paggamit ng home quarantine pass.

“Those who need to access basic need may proceed to their satellite market or available rolling stores, or they must coordinate with their barangay officials. Exit and entry into the Barangay is restricted to APORs and those with medical emergencies,” saad pa sa memorandum.
