11 OFWs halos isang linggo nang stranded sa Doha Airport

Mayroong labingisang Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) na stranded sa Doha International Airport.

Ayon kay DFA Undersecretary Brigido Dulay, halos isang linggo nang stranded ang mga Pinoy simula nang ihinto ang inbound flights sa lahat ng paliparan sa bansa.

Handa na rin aniya ang Qatar Airways na bumiyahe para sa repatriation ng mga Pinoy gamit ang cargo flight na QR 8502 ngayong araw.

Gayunman, umiiral pa ang suspensyon sa lahat ng inbound international flights sa mga paliparan sa bansa na nagsimula noong May 3.

Sinabi ni Dulay na kailangan nilang hingin ang permiso ni DOTr Sec. Arthur Tugade upang mapauwi sa lalong madaling panahon ang mga stranded na OFW.

Sa May 10 pa alas 8:00 ng umaga magre-resume ang inbound international at commercial flights sa mga paliparan.
