ABS-CBN, naghain ng petisyon sa SC para mahinto ang cease and desist order ng NTC
Naghain ng petisyon ng broadcast giant na ABS-CBN sa Supreme Court para pansamantalang mahinto ang implementasyon ng inilabas na cease and desist order ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
Ipinasa ang 46-pahinang petition for certiorari and probihition sa SC ukol sa direktiba ng NTC na pagtitigil ng operasyon ng ABS-CBN makaraang mapaso ang prangkisa.
Naghain din ang TV network ng urgent motion for a special raffle para agad iakyat ang kaso sa high court.
Matatandaang inilabas ng NTC ang cease and desist order laban sa ABS-CBN isang araw matapos mapaso ang prangkisa ng TV network.
Agad namang tumalima ang TV network sa kautusan ng NTC at nag-off air simula Martes ng gabi (May 5).
