Palasyo, iginiit na malayo ang sitwasyon ng Pilipinas martial law noong 1972
Iginiit ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na ang sitwasyon ng Pilipinas ngayon sa idineklarang martial law ni dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos taogn 1972.
Pahagay ito ng Palasyo matapos ihayag ni Bishop Broderick Pabillo na ang pagpapahinto ng operasyon ng ABS-CBN ay papalapit na sa martial law.
Sa virtual presser, sinabi ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque na nirerespeto nito ang opinyon ni Bishop Pabillo.
Aniya, bukas ang Kongreso, Korte Suprema at iba pang hukuman, at maging ang iba pang media outlet bukod lamang sa ABS-CBN dahil napaso ang prangkisa nito.
Dahil dito, ani Roque, malayo ang sitwasyon ng Pilipinas sa martial law noong 1972.
Matatandaang nag-off air ang ABS-CBN, Martes ng gabi (May 5), alinsunod sa inilabas na cease and desist order ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
