Duque pinasususpinde muna ang pagtataas ng PhilHealth premium ng OFWs

Nanawagan si Health Secretary Francisco Duque III na suspindihin muna ang pagpapatupad ng probinsyon ng Universal Health Care (UHC) law na magpapataw ng mas mataas na premium payments sa PhilHealth para sa overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

Sa kaniyang tweet, sinabi ni Duque partikular na pinasususpinde niya ang pagpapatupad ng Section 10.2.C ng IRR (implementing rules and regulations) ng UHC law.

Ito ay dahil aniya sa economic impact nito sa mga OFW.

Sinabi ni Duque na tatalakayin muna ng Department of Health (DOH) ang usapin sa Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth).

Makikipag-usap din ang DOH sa stakeholders ayon kay Duque.
