Lahat ng LGUs may ordinansa na para proteksyunan ang health workers

May naipasa nang ordinasa ang lahat ng local government units (LGUs) sa Metro Manila para maprotektahan ang mga health workers na rumeresponde sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexi Nograles, tagapagsalita ng Inter Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Disease, nakapagpasa na ang LGUs ng anti-discrimination ordinance.

Nagpalabas na aniya ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na ang lahat ng uri ng pananakot, diskriminasyon, at pananakit sa mga frontliners ay may karampatang parusa.

“Speaking of LGUs, I am happy to report that according to the DILG, all LGUs in Metro Manila now have an anti-discrimination ordinance or EO in place. May babala din ang NBI: ang lahat ng uri ng pananakot, diskriminasyon, at pananakit sa ating mga frontliners ay may karampatang parusa,” ayon kay Nograles.

Hinihimok ng IATF ang mga healthworker at publiko na ireport sa NBI kung nakaranas o nakasaksi ng mga ito.
