‘Rebound’ ng kaso ng COVID-19 dapat pag-ingatan ayon sa isang health expert

Dapat maging maingat ang bansa sa posibleng ‘rebound’ ng kaso ng COVID-19.

Ngayong bumababa ang mga naitatalang kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa sa araw-araw, sinabi ni University of the Philippines Executive Vice President Teodoro Herbosa na hindi dapat magpakakampante.

Sa panayam ng Radyo Inquirer, sinabi ni Herbosa na mayroong ‘rebound’ ang kaso gaya na lamang ng nangyari sa South Korea at Singapore.

Kapwa aniya eksperto at magaling ang dalawang bansa sa ginawang pagtugon sa sakit pero nagkaroon sila ng ‘rebound’ o biglang pagtaas ng kaso.

“Ang dapat mag-ingat tayo mayroong rebound eh, nakita niyo ung magagaling na bansa Korea at Singapore akala nila OK na tapos dumami na naman,” ani Herbosa.

Ito ang dahilan ayon kay Herbosa kaya dapat labis na maging maingat ang pamahalaan sa pagdedesisyon kung babawiin o palalawigin pa ang enhanced community quarantine.

“Kung aalisin ang ECQ dapat handa tayo sa pagsipa ng kaso. Kung aalisin man baka pwedeng localized pa rin na ipatupad,” dagdag pa ni Herbosa.
