Napauwing OFWs sa bansa halos 17,000 na

Umakyat na sa halos 17,000 na Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) ang napauwi ng pamahalaan sa bansa simula nang lumaganap ang problema sa COVID-19.

Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) sa kabuuan, mayroon nang napauwi na 16,911 na landbased at seabased OFWs.

Kagabi (Linggo, April 19) ay mayroon pang dumating na 233 na landbased OFWs mula sa Indonesia, Singapore at Kenya.

Sa maghahapon ng araw ng Linggo ay umabot sa 779 na ang napauwing OFWs sa bansa.

Lahat ng OFWs na sumailalim sa repatriation ay kailangang makatapos ng 14 na araw na madatory quarantine.
