Curve ng COVID-19 sa bansa nagsisimula nang bumaba ayon kay UP Exec. VP Dr. Teodoro Herbosa

Nagsisimula nang bumaba ang curve ng COVID-19 cases sa bansa.

Pahayag ito ni University of the Philippines Executive Vice President Teodoro Herbosa kasunod ng mas mababa nang bilang ng kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19 na naitatala ng Department of Health (DOH) nitong nakalipas na mga araw.

Sa panayam ng Radyo Inquirer kay Herbosa sinabi nitong malinaw na epekto ng pagpapatupad ng enhanced community quarantine ang pagbaba na ng kaso.

Dagdag pa ni Herbosa na sa kabila ng pagtataas sa kapasidad ng COVID-19 testing sa bansa ay hindi nagkakaroon ng biglaang paglobo ng sakit.

“Nag-uumpisa nang mag-flatten ang curve natin. effect po ito ng 15days ago. A week ago, nagdoble na ang capacity ng RITM, dinagdagan nila ang tests nila. Gumagawa na tyo ng maraming tests pero ang number of cases hindi ganoon kataas,” ani Herbosa.

Malaking bagay din ani Herbosa na mayroon na ngayong quarantine facilities para sa mga suspected at probable cases.

Dati kasi ay sa bahay lamang nagsasagawa ng self-quarantine ang mga ito.

“Dati kung mild ang sintomas mo sa bahay ka na lang mag-quarantine. Dati kasi wala pa tayong quarantine facilities. Ngayon basta’t probable ka o suspect ka may pagdadalhan ka na,” dagdag pa ni Herbosa.
