Financial aid sa bansa dapat gastusin sa pagpapalakas ng mga ospital

Iginiit ni Deputy Speaker Mikee Romero na kailangang gastusin ng gobyerno ang mga financial aid mula sa iba’t-ibang financial institutions upang palakasin ang mga ospital sa bansa.

Ayon kay Romero, dapat din itong gamitin para mas maging maayos ang working conditions ng mga health workers.

Bukod dito, maari ding tustusan ng nasabing halaga ang mga micro, small and medium enterprises sector upang muling makapagsimula dahil sa epekto ng COVID-19.

Suportado rin ng economist solon ang pahayag ng Department of Finance na kakailanganin ng bansa ang nasa mahigit P1 trilyon sa buong taong 2020 para sa COVID-19 measures.

Sabi ni Romero, maaring pondohan ng nasabing halaga ang P500 billion para sa COVID-19 Bayanihan Bonds, P500 billion para sa multilateral at bilateral loans, big-ticket projects at tulong sa mga local government units.

Hinikayat din nito ang DOF na gamitin ang global capital markets para sa pondohan ang pagpapalabas ng Covid-19 Bayanihan Bonds pero sabi ni Romero hindi dapat lahat ay dollar-denominated ito dahil kailangan din nasa peso upang mahikayat ang mga Filipino investors.
