Consular offices sa Luzon, mananatiling suspendido hanggang April 30

Mananatiling suspendido ang consular offices ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) sa Luzon, kabilang ang Office of Consular Affairs sa ASEANA Business Park sa Parañaque City.

Sa abiso ng kagawaran, ito ay kasunod ng pagpapalawig ng enhanced community quarantine sa Luzon.

Sa bahagi ng Visayas at Mindanao, magiging operational pa rin ang ilang consular office na mayroong skeleton workforces.

Tuloy anila ang pagbibigay ng serbisyo sa ilang indibiwal na mayroong urgent consular needs tulad ng mga overseas Filipino worker (OFW) at may medical emergencies.

Bahagi ito ng suporta sa deklarasyon ng community quarantine ng ilang local government unit (LGU) at public health efforts sa bansa.

Wala ring operasyon ang mga CO tuwing araw ng Sabado sa Visayas at Mindanao.

Ayoon sa DFA, ang mga aplikante na may confirmed appointment mula March 9 hanggang April 30 ay maa-accommodate sa CO malapit sa kanila o kung saan nakatakda ang appointment simula May 4 hanggang July 31, 2020 tuwing Lunes hanggang Biyernes mula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 5:00 ng hapon.

Maa-accommodate rin ang mga nangangailangan ng Authentication, Visa, and Civil Registration services simula sa May 4, 2020.

“The DFA also reminds the public that due to logistical limitations due to the Luzon-wide Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), there will be some delays in the production, delivery, and availability of passports nationwide and at our Philippine Embassies and Consulates General until the ECQ period ends and the demand for passports and our logistics partners’ operations are stabilized. Passport applicants are advised to prepare contingencies for their travel plans,” paalala pa ng DFA.
