Pangulong Duterte sa mga landlord: Huwag pwersahing singilin ang mga tenant
Binalaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga landlord na pwersahang naniningil ng upa sa kanilang tenants.
Ayon sa pangulo handa siyang protektahan ang mga tenant sa panahong ito.
“Huwag mo muna hingin kasi wala talaga. And whatever na ang nasa kamay ng mga tao ngayon, they are saving it for the last day, for the rainy days to come,” ayon sa pangulo sa kaniyang public address, Huwebes (Apr. 9) ng madaling araw.
Pakiusap ng pangulo sa mga landlord huwag maningil ng pwersahan.
Una rito ay nagpatupad ng 30-day grace period ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) sa pagkulekta ng renta sa mga residential at commercial tenants.
Kasama dito ang mga micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
