Cash assistance para sa formal workers inaprubahan ng IATF

Aprubado na ng Inter Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases ang rekomendasyon ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) na social amelioration program para sa mga formal workers.

Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexi Nograles, tagapagsalita ng IATF, suportado ng kanilang hanay ang hiling
ng DOLE para sa pag-release ng P5 bilyong pondo para sa COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) para sa mga apektadong Overseas Filipino Workers(OFWs) at local workers; Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa mga Displaced/Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) Sanitation Project; at ang Abot Kamay ang Pagtulong​ (AKAP) ​sa O​FWs program.

Ayon kay Nograles, ang mga nabanggit na programa ay hiwalay sa Emergency Subsidy Program ng Department of Social Welfare and Development na nakalaan sa mga targeted beneficiaries.

“The recommendations of the Department of Labor and Employment for the social amelioration program for the formal workers sector as presented are hereby approved,” pahayag ni Nograles.
