DSWD kinalampag ni Speaker Cayetano kaugnay sa listahan ng mabibigyan ng social amelioration ng gobyerno

Pinamamadali ni House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang pagsasa-ayos ng listahan nang mabibigyan ng cash assistance ng pamahalaan sa gitna ng coronavirus disease o COVID-19 pandemic.

Ito ay matapos na 54.71 percent lamang o 1,788,604 pamilya sa Metro Manila ang makikinabang sa social amelioration program sa ilalim ng Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.

Sabi ni Cayetano, higit pa sa naturang bilang ang totoong nangangailangan ng emergency cash subsidies ng pamahalaan.

Sa datos na hawak ng lider ng Kamara, P106,906,055 ang kabuuang halagang ilalabas ng pamahalaan para sa unang tranche ng social amelioration program para sa nasa 18 million na mahihirap na pamilyang Pilipino.

Sa naturang halaga, mahigit P14 million ang hahahiin sa tig-P8,000 at ipapamahagi sa mga natukoy na mahihirap na pamilya sa National Capital Region (NCR).

Pero para kay Cayetano ay kulang ang para sa totoong bilang ng mga nangangailangan ng naturang emergency cash subsidy.

Kaya dapat aniyang ayusin ang listahan sa kung sino ang dapat na mabigyan ng forms para sa social amelioration card na hindi pa kabilang sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
