Pangulong Duterte, inatasan ang OCD na pangasiwaan ang lahat ng donasyon para sa COVID-19

Inatasan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Office of Civil Defense (OCD) na pangasiwaan ang lahat ng donasyon pati na sa medical supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE) para sa COVID-19.

Sa ilalim ng Administrative Order number 27, sakop nito ang donasyon mula sa foreign governments, private entities, non-governmental organizations, o iba lang grupo at indibidwal.

Ang OCD na rin ang magsasagawa ng imbentaryo.

Nakasaad sa AO na maari namang magkaroon ng direktang donasyon sa mga ospital, departamento, government owned and controlled corporation, state universities and colleges pero kinakailangan na maipagbigay alam sa OCD para sa kaukulang pag-uulat.

Hindi rin sakop ng kautusan ang direct donations na may kinalaman sa transportasyon, accommodation at basic necessities para sa consumption ng frontline workers.

Inaatasan naman ang Department of National Defense (DND) na magbigay ng logistical support sa OCD para sa distribusyon at deivery ng mga donated medicines, equipment, at iba pa.

Inaatasan naman si Chief Implementer of the National Policy Against COVID-19 at Presidential Adviser on Peace Carlito Galvez Jr. na mag-oversee sa managenent at distribusyon ng mga donasyon.
