Mahigit 3,000 sasakyang pandagat naisailalim sa inspeksyon ng PCG

Umabot sa mahigit 3,000 na sasakyang pandagat ang nainspeksyon ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa nakalipas na magdamag.

Ito ay sa ilalim ng Task Group Laban COVID-19 Water Cluster ng PCG.

Sa situation report ng PCG, kabilang sa nainspeksyon ang domestic at foreign passenger vessels, domestic at foreign cargoe vessels, motor tanker, motor boat, tugboat at iba pang uri ng sasakyang pandagat.

Sa kabuuan, sa magdamag sinabi ng PCG na umabot sa 3,137 ang naisailalim sa inspeksyon.

Sa isinagawang inspeksyon, isinailalim sa screening at health protocols ang mga crew.

Samantala, umabot naman sa 621 na seaborne operations ang naisagawa ng coast guard.

Ito ay para matiyak ang maritime safety laban sa COVID-19.
