Drug combination na umano’y gamot sa COVID-19 hindi totoo ayon sa FDA
Binalaan ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ang publiko hinggil sa ipinakakalat na mayroon nang drug combination na maaring makapagpagaling sa sakit na COVID-19.
Ipinaalala din din ng FDA sa lahat ng health facilities at health professionals na sundin lang ang inirerekomendang treatment guidelines ng Department of Health (DOH) sa pag-handle sa COVID patients.
May mga baseless claims kasi na nagsasabi na mayroong drug combination na maaring makapagpagaling sa sakit.
Ang sinasabing drug combination ay ang pinagsamang Procaine and Dexamethasone with Vitamin B o “Prodex-B”.
Kumakalat ngayon sa social media na ang “Prodex-B” ay epektibo laban sa viral infections.
Pero ayon sa FDA, ang “Prodex-B” ay hindi rehistrado sa ahensya.
