Nursing students pwedeng gawing ‘frontliners’ – Sen. Leila de Lima

Para madagdagan ang bilang ng medical frontliners, ipinanukala ni Senator Leila de Lima na gamitin ang mga 3rd at 4th year nursing students.

Sinabi nito na kailangan lang sumailalim sa mabilisan na pagsasanay ang mga nursing students at maari na silang maitalaga bilang ‘back up manpower’ sa pasilidad na pangkalusugan.

Kailangan lang aniya siguruhin na naayon sa batas at kautusan ng DOH ang pagtalaga sa kanila gayundin dapat tiyakin na may sapat na proteksyon ang mga estudyante sa pagtulong na malabanan ang COVID 19.

Dagdag pa ni de Lima dapat din bigyan ng kompensasyon ang mga nursing students.

Ang suhestiyon na ito ng senadora ay bunsod ng kakulangan na sa bilang ng health and medical frontliners dahil may ilan na sa kanila ang naka-quarantine bilang persons under monitoring o persons under investigation.
