Mga post sa social media na huminto na umano ang RITM sa COVID-19 testing, hindi totoo – DOH
Pinasinungalingan ng Department of Health (DOH) ang kumakalat na posts sa social media na hindi na umano nagpoproseso ang Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) ng COVID-19 testing.
Sa press briefing, sinabi ni Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire na hindi totoo na tumigil sa pagsusuri ang RITM dahil sa biosafety hazards.
Tuluy-tuloy pa rin aniya ang pagsusuri ng RITM ng mga sample.
Muli namang nagpaalala si Vergeire sa publiko na maging maingat sa pagkakalat ng mga impormasyon lalo na sa social media.
Giit nito, buhay at kaligtasan ang kaakibat ng bawat ibinabahaging impormasyon sa social media.
