Pansamantalang sinuspinde ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang pag-isyu ng visa at visa-free entry privilege sa mga dayuhan.
Sa Twitter, sinabi ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. na lahat ng embahada at konsulada ay pansamantalang sususpindehin ang visa issuance at visa-free entry privilege sa mga dayuhan.
Epektibo aniya ito simula sa araw ng Huwebes (March 19).
“All previously issued Philippine visas to foreign nationals are deemed cancelled,” dagdag ng kalihim.
Mananatili naman aniyang balido ang mga visa na nailabas na sa mga dayuhang asawa at anak ng mga Filipino.
