444 na Pinoy mula MV Grand Princess dumating na sa bansa

Nakauwi na sa bansa ang 438 na Filipino crew at 6 na pasahero ng MV Grand Princess na naantala ang biyahe sa California dahil sa COVID-19.

Lumapag sa Haribon Hangar sa Clark Airbase, Pampanga ang sinasakyang chartered flight ng mga Pinoy alas 2:15 ng madaling araw ngayong Lunes (March 16).

Sinalubong ang mga Pinoy ng mga tauhan ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) at mga staff ng Masaysay Lines.

Agad isinakay sa mga bus ang mga Pinoy at sakay dinala sa Athletes’ Village sa New Clark City sa Tarlac kung saan sila isasailalim sa 14 na araw na quarantine.

Ito na ang ikatlong batch ng mga Pinoy mula sa mga bansang apektado ng COVID-19 na napauwi sa bansa.

Una ay ang mga Pinoy mula Wuhan City sa China at ikalawa ay ang mga Pinoy mula sa MV Diamond Princess.
