Libreng sine sa mga senior citizen sa Makati suspendido na muna

Bilang pagtalima sa panghihikayat ng DILG na ‘social distancing,’ sinuspendi muna ni Makati City Mayor Abby Binay ang pribilehiyo ng mga senior citizens sa lungsod na libreng panonood ng sine.

Sinabi ni Binay ito ay isang hakbang para maiwasan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19.

Aniya sakop ng kautusan ang mga sinehan sa Glorietta, Powerplant Mall, Century Mall, Circuit, Waltermart Mall at Greenbelt.

Unang nagpayo ang DOH Technical Advisory Group na mahigpit na magpatupad ng social distancing measures sa Metro Manila sa loob ng 30 araw.

Nangako naman si Binay na agad ibabalik ang pribilehiyo kapag nawala na ang banta ng COVID-19.

Noong nakaraang taon, gumasta ang Makati LGU ng P28.7 milyon para sa libreng panonood ng sine ng mga senior citizens ng lungsod.
