PNP, nilinaw na walang ipinatupad na lockdown sa Metro Manila

Nilinaw ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na wala silang inilabas na kautusan hinggil sa pagpapatupad ng lockdown sa National Capital Region (NCR).

Ito ay kasunod ng mga kumalat na ulat sa social media ukol sa lockdown umano sa Metro Manila bunsod ng banta ng Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ng PNP Public Information Office (PIO) na ang Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases at National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) lamang ang may kakayahang maglabas ng kautusan kasabay ng public health emergency sa bansa.

Patuloy naman ang pagpapaigting ng PNP ng kanilang contingency plan para maiwasan ang pagkalat ng sakit.

Sa huling tala ng Department of Health (DOH), nasa 49 ang kabuuang bilang ng kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa.
