Mayor Sotto, nilinaw na tumatanggap pa rin ng pasyente ang The Medical City

Nilinaw ni Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto na tumatanggap pa rin ng mga pasyente ang The Medical City.

Ito ang naging pahayag ni Sotto sa Twitter matapos lumabas ang ilang ulat na hindi na umano tumatanggap ng mga itinuturing na patients under investigation (PUIs) ang nasabing ospital.

Ayon sa alkalde, nagtungo siya sa The Medical City para makausap ang mga opisyal nito.

“We are reassuring the public: TMC is NOT refusing patients. Even if they reach capacity, they will test and properly refer patients,” ani Sotto.

Tuloy din aniya ang normal na operasyon ng nasabing ospital sa Pasig.

Ukol naman sa inilabas na memo ng ospital, ito ang naging pahayag ni Sotto, “That does NOT say they will refuse patients. If they are full they will do immediately necessary procedures like swabbing/testing, then properly refer to another hospital, if necessary, and following proper protocol.”
