Palasyo nagpatulong na sa media para sa information dissemination sa COVID-19
Umaapela ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa lahat ng media outlet sa buong bansa na makipagtulungan sa pamahalaan para sa information dissemination kaugnay sa Coronavius Disease o COVID-19.
Ayon kay Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo, dapat i-ere ng lahat ng media outlet ang lahat ng mga pahayag ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III ukol sa COVID-19.
“In connection with this Proclamation, may we request and urge all media outlets to kindly publish all the statements made by Secretary Duque and all the bulletins issued by it so that our countrymen will now how to react on the present crisis,” ani Panelo.
Bilang tugon, agad namang nakipagpulong ang mga opisyal ng Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) kay Communications Operations Office Secretary Andanar para sa mas maayos na information dissemination sa COVID-19.
Ayon kay Andanar, ito ay para malabanan ang pagkalat ng fake news.
Sinabi naman ni KBP President Ruperto Nicdao na kaisa ang kanilang hanay sa pamahalaan sa maayos na pamamahagi ng impormasyon sa COVID-19.
Sa pinakahuling talaan ng DOH, 20 kaso na ng COVID-19 ang naitala sa bansa kung saan isa ang local transmission.
