Qatif Region sa Saudi Arabia isinailalim sa lockdown dahil sa COVID-19

Nagpatupad ng temporary lockdown sa Qatif Region sa Saudi Arabia matapos makapagtala ng 11 katao na positibo sa COVID-19.

Ang Qatif na sakop ng lockdown ay mayroong malaking populasyon ng Shi’ite Muslim at isa din sa oil-producing province sa Saudi.

Pero ayon sa interior ministry office, hindi naman ito inaasahang magkakaroon ng impact sa oil prodiction ng Saudi.

Sa ngayon nagpapatupad na ng travel ban ang Saudi Arabia sa Iran.

Habang bawal na rin ang land crossings ng mga commercial trucks mula sa UAE, Kuwait at Bahrain.
