Unang human-to-animal transmission ng COVID-19 naitala sa Hong Kong

Nakapagtala ng kauna-unahang human-to-animal transmission ng COVID-19 sa Hong Kong.

Ito ay matapos na magpositibo sa sakit ang isang pemeranian dog sa Hong Kong nang siya ay mahawa sa 60-anyos na babaeng pasyente na nagmamay-ari sa kaniya.

Isinailalim agad sa quarantine sa animal center ang aso.

Ayon sa Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) ng Hong Kong, sasailalim sa serye ng tests ang aso.

Maituturing namang “low-level” lamang ang tumamang sakit sa aso.
