Zero casualty sa hostage taking sa San Juan welcome sa Palasyo

Welcome sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang pagresponde ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa hostage taking incident sa V-Mall sa Greenhills, San Juan.

Ayon kay Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo, iprinisinta, Lunes ng gabi, sa Cabinet meeting ni Interior Secretary Eduardo Año kay Pangulong Duterte ang pangho-hostage ng isang security guard sa 30 indibidwal.

Ayon kay Panelo, natuwa naman ang pangulo dahil walang nasawi sa hostage taking.

“He was happy that there was no casualty except for one. There was only one. And then he related what he did when he was mayor,” ayon kay Panelo.

Inaalala kasi aniya ng pangulo ang buhay ng mga hostage at maging ng security guard.

Batid aniya ng Palasyo na may mga kritisimo ang PNP nang payagan pang makapag presscon ang security guard na nang hostage.

“I understand there have been some criticisms. And General Gamboa said it was tactical. In other words, apparently the main concern is the safety of the 30 hostages and since they survived and they’re alive, I think we should welcome that,” ani Panelo.

Pero ayon kay Panelo, base sa salaysay ni PNP chief General Archie Gamboa, bahagi ito ng tactical operations.
