BREAKING: Travel ban sa Taiwan binawi na ng pamahalaan

Binawi na ng pamahalaan ang pag-iral ng travel ban sa Taiwan.

Dahil dito, maari na muling makabiyahe anuman ang nationality mula Pilipinas patungong Taiwan at mula Taiwan pabalik ng Pilipinas.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, ang pagbawi sa ban ay napagpasyahan ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF).

Ito ay dahil sa mayroon namang istriktong measures na ipinatutupad ang Taiwan at may mga protocols para matugunan ang COVID-19.

Kaugnay nito sinabi ni Panelo na masusing pag-aaralan ng IATF ang kondisyon sa iba pang mga lugar kabilang ang Macau hinggil sa posibilidad na pagbawi na rin ng travel ban.

“IATF will likewise evaluate other jurisdictions, including Macau, for the possible lifting of the imposed travel ban after their submission of the protocols being observed by their government which prevent potential carriers of the said virus from entering and deporting their territory and enable others to determine the recent travel history of any traveler exiting their borders,” ayon kay Panelo.
