Cruise ship na una nang hindi pinadaong sa Pilipinas tinanggihan din sa Thailand

Hindi pumayag ang Thailand na makadaong sa Bangkok ang cruise ship na may lulang 2,000 pasahero dahil sa banta ng 2019 novel coronavirus.

Ito ay kahit tiniyak na ng Carnival Cruise na ligtas ang lahat ng kanilang mga pasahero at crew at walang dahilan para maalarma ang Thailand.

Pero hindi nagbigay ng permiso ang Public Health Ministry Office ng Thailand para makababa ng Bangkok ang mga sakay ng barko.

Ang MS Westerdam ay may lulang 1,455 na guests at 802 na crew.

Una na rin itong hindi pinadaong sa Japan, Pilipinas at Guam.

Nagsimula itong maglayag noong February 1 galing Hong Kong.
