Isang team ng DFA, tutulak patungong Wuhan City para sa repatriation operation

Tutulak ang isang team ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) patungong Wuhan City, China para sa isasagawang repatriation operation sa mga Filipino.

Ayon sa DFA, bibiyahe ang team sa pamamagitan ng Royal Air flight mula sa Clark International Airport patungong Wuhan City, Sabado ng gabi (February 8).

Tiniyak ng kagawaran na ang nasabing biyahe ay nakatanggap ng clearance mula sa mga otoridad sa China.

Aasistihan ang mga Filipino na nananatili sa episentro ng 2019-novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (2019-nCoV ARD) katuwang ang medical team mula sa Department of Health (DOH).

Kabilang sa Health Emergency Response Team (HERT) sina Rowell Casaclang, Abdul Rahman Pacasum at Richard delos Santos mula sa Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs (OUMWA); at limang miyembrong medical team ng DOH.

Ayon kay DFA Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs Sarah Lou Arriola, sasailalim sa simulation exercise ang team sa Clark Airport isang araw bago ang flight para masiguro ang mabilis at maayos na operasyon.

“The team is already experienced in repatriation operations, and has been briefed and prepared for this particular assignment,” aniya pa.

Samantala, sa pagbiyahe pabalik ng Clark, tutulungan ng DFA team ang mga Filipinong mapapauwi na makumpleto ang kanilang immigration documents at iba pang requirement.

Dadalhin agad ang mga napauwing Filipino sa Athletes’ Village sa New Clark City, Tarlac para sa 14-day mandatory quarantine.

Isasailalim din sa quarantine ang mga crew na kabilang sa flight ng DFA.
