Publiko hindi dapat na maging hysterical sa novel coronavirus
Umaapela si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa publiko na huwag magpanic o maging hysterical sa gitna ng paglaganap ng 2019 novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (2019-nCoV ARD).
Ayon sa pangulo, simple lang naman ang pamamaraan para tugunan ang problema.
“The response of the people from the initial reports of coronavirus was almost hysterical when there was really no need for it actually. And if there is really a virus going around, why do you have to be hysterical?,” ayon sa pangulo.
Ayon sa pangulo, simple lang ang paraan. Pumunta sa hospital at magpasuri kung nakitaan ng mga sintomas ng coronavirus gaya ng ubo, sipon, lagnat o sorethroat.
“Why don’t you just go to the hospital and have yourself treated? Or if you want quarantined, if you suspect that you have acquired… Kaya wala akong nakita nag-ubo. Ehem-ehem,” ayon pa sa pangulo.
Maari rin naman aniyang magpa-quarantine ang isang pasyente kung sa tingin niya ay may sintomas ng coronavirus.
Una nang sinabi ng pangulo na hindi dapat na sisihin at kamuhian ang mga Chinese sa paglaganap ng sakit.
Nangako rin ang pangulo na makikipagtulungan ang Pilipinas sa China para tugunan ang naturang propblema.
