Ito ay para tugunan ang problema sa 2019-novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (2019-nCoV ARD).
Ayon kay Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo, pinagbabawalan muna ni Pangulong Duterte ang mga Filipino na bumiyahe sa China pati na ang special administrative regions. Ito ay ang Hong Kong at Macau.
Ayon kay Panelo, maari ring pagbawalan ng task force ang mga turista na galing sa ibang bansa na laganap ang coronavirus.
