OFW na inatake sa puso sa Libya, nakauwi na ng bansa

Nakauwi na ng Pilipinas ang babaeng overseas Filipino worker (OFW) na inatake sa puso sa Tripoli, Libya.

Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), inasiste ang babaeng nurse ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Tripoli at International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Dumating ang babaeng Pinay nurse noong January 28.

Agad itong dinala sa Makati Medical Center para sa medical evaluation bago ang biyahe nito patungong Zamboanga City.

Sabado ng umaga, February 1, dinala na ang babaeng nurse sa Zamboanga sa pamamagitan ng military plane mula sa Philippine Air Force (PAF) kasama ang ilang medical personnel mula sa PAF at IOM Philippines.

Ayon naman kay Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs Sarah Lou Arriola, naging matagumpay ang medical repatriation dahil sa koordinasyon ng kagawaran, IOM, Department of National Defense (DND) at PAF.

Nagpasalamat naman ito sa ibinigay na tulong para maasiste ang OFW pauwi ng Pilipinas.

Patuloy din aniya ang kanilang panalangin para sa mabilis na paggaling ng OFW.
