Alert level sa Iran at Lebanon, ibinaba na ng DFA

Tanging sa Iraq na lang ipatutupad ang mandatory evacuation maging ang total deployment ban.

Ito ay matapos ibaba ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang alert level sa Iran at Lebanon kasunod ng matinding tensyon na nag-ugat sa pagpatay kay General Qasem Soleimani ng Iran sa Iraq International Airport.

Ngunit ayon kay Labor Sec. Silvestre Bello III, hindi pa rin magpo-proseso ng mga aplikasyon para makapag-trabaho sa Iran at Lebanon.

Una nang ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mandatory evacuation ng may 1,600 Filipino sa Iraq at magiging bahagi ng pagpapalikas ang AFP.

Ayon kay Defense Sec. Delfin Lorenzana, gagamitin sa evacuation ang ‘air assets’ ng Philippine Air Force, gayundin ang ‘naval assets’ ng Philippine Navy.
