Pagsipa ng inflation rate noong buwan ng Disyembre hindi ikinabahala ng Malakanyang

Hindi dapat ikabahala ang pagtaas ng inflation rate para sa buwan ng Disyembre.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, nananatiling pasok sa target ng pamahalaan ang 2.5 percent na December inflation.

Kung tutuusin napakababa na aniya nito kumpara sa 6.7 percent na peak ng inflation noong 2018.

Base aniya sa pahayag ng National Economic and Development Authority o NEDA, ang pagsipa ng inflation noong December 2019 ay dahil sa pagtaas ng presyo ng food at non-food items, gayundin dahil sa pagtaas ng presyo ng produktong petrolyo.

Sinabi ni Panelo na patuloy na binabantayan ng economic managers ng pamahalaan ang inflation.
